The village shop for lonely hearts

Sherlock, Alison2020
Book
Returning from New York after losing her job, painfully shy window dresser Amber Green is only supposed to be passing through the sleepy village of Cranbridge. With its quiet lanes and rundown shops, it's hardly a place to linger. Cathy Kennedy, Amber's Godmother and proprietor of the struggling Cranbridge Stores, has other ideas. Amber soon finds herself settling into village life and dreaming about renovating the rundown village shore whilst Cathy's son, Josh, is desperately trying to save his family's shop from financial ruin. The last thing Josh needs are Amber's ambitious restoration ideas. What the store needs are customers and fast.
